Reggie Jeanne Jacquart 1945-2017

Joe Bontems dit :

Dear Barry, Jeannie & Sandra, and extended family;

I just today learned of Reggie’s death. I am so sad for this great loss to all of your family, as well as for those of us who so treasured this exceptional person, Reggie. Uncompromising in her integrity, Reggie always had a feeling for the underdog, for a homeless animal, for those who were otherwise disenfranchised. And as you well know, she usually acted upon her feelings for them…
Every day at work, I loved coming into the CLSC H’don, to see Reggie at the “helm.” I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed hearing her speak, with her European French, or her “Newfie” English. She could be so incredibly gentle with the most vulnerable, yet so strong and determined when facing the formidable. Her intelligence and original viewpoints never ceased to amaze me.
My best wishes to you all, in your healing journey. Reggie’s memory will live on in the hearts of many who knew and cherish her!
