After a long courageous battle with cancer, Edwin passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at the age of 87.
He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret (Edwards), with whom he shared a 64 year marriage filled with happiness, family, friends and wonderful moments.
He will be sadly missed by his children Richard (Marie), Linda (Webb) and Karen (Tom); and his grandchildren Sara (Cam), David, Angela(Adam), Jesse(Catherine) and Martin(Chloe); and many relatives and friends.
Predeceased by his parents, Walter and Helen Keddy, and brother Leslie and sister-in-law Shirley.
A successful businessman and tireless volunteer to his community, serving 28 years as municipal councillor, as a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Athletic Association, Masonic Lodge. A dedicated member and one of the founders of the Hemmingford Golf Club, Edwin had an avid love of the game of golf and instilled this in his children and grandchildren, which made him very proud.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Edwin’s life, which will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Salle Edwin Keddy at the Hemmingford Golf Club (http://www.golfhemmingford.com/contact). Condolences to the family from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

The family wishes to sincerely thank the staff at the Barrie Memorial Hospital and the Palliative care unit of the CHDD Huntingdon for the loving care he received on his final journey.
