Beloved wife of Neil Mosher Sturgeon for 65 years passed away peacefully after a brief illness.
Devoted mother of Dan Sturgeon (Deborah) of Mississauga, Ontario,
Gary Sturgeon (Lynda) of Qualicum Beach, BC., and Linda Lemieux (Michael) of Rouses
Point, NY.
Ann Marie is survived by her brothers, Bill Barriere and Jim Barriere (Carole), her
sister Elaine Rodier (Richie) and her brother-in-law Ray Sturgeon (Sandy)
She will be missed by her grandchildren, Jason Lemieux (Amy), Mikey Lemieux (Carly),
Jesse Sturgeon (Hetal), Meghan Archer (David), Andrew Sturgeon (Janeen), David Sturgeon (Crystal),
and Kathleen Chmelyk (Kelsey) and 10 great grandchildren. She also leaves
to mourn several cousins, nieces and nephews and many devoted friends and colleagues who shared her
passion to nurture and help others.
A funeral mass to celebrate Ann Marie's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31
at Eglise de Notre Dame de Mont Carmel, 27 rue de l'eglise, Lacolle, QC
Family members will be at the church to receive condolences from 10:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Association would be greatly appreciated.
