Ernest “Ernie” Robert Derrick 1939-2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our very beloved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, and best friend. Ernie passed away peacefully with his family by his side on February 27, 2018. Son of the late Glenna “Ginger” Derrick Johnson, he leaves behind his loving wife of 38 years Nicole, his beloved daughter Kim who he adored, son-in-law and best friend Dave, his granddaughter Chloe who was the joy of his life and who he loved with all of his heart, his son Robert (Sonia), his granddaughter Marisol, and his loyal puppy Toby. He will be greatly missed by many friends, nieces, nephews and cousins. Ernie lived a beautiful life filled with happiness, laughter, travel, family, friends and so much love.
Ernie, Daddy, Papy, you are our hero. You we will be remembered and missed forever. We love you so much.
