I have known Shirley since grade school; living with my grand'parents on Covey-Hill Rd., we, together with her sisters, Helen and Madeline, were all passengers of the same school bus which provided transportation to St. Romain Elementary. She was surely gifted with very strong qualities of fortitude and resiliency. Each time we happen to meet, she was always in very good spirits accompanied with a beaming smile. To our daughter, Colleen, and to both the Enderle and Simpson families, my most sincere condolences. Robert Pierre
