Gerald Hislop 1940-2020

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that on March 24th, Mr. Gerald Hislop from Venise-en-Québec passed away at 80 years of age. He was a beloved husband for 55 years and is survived by his loving wife Shirley Reynolds Hislop. His infectious soul now journeys to heaven where he will be reunited with his son, Bruce Hislop. Gerald lived his life with kindness, love and integrity, his sense of humor always made everyone laugh, his spirit was infectious. Gerald was filled with empathy and he was generous, always ready, willing, and offering his help to everyone. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends and he will always be remembered fondly by Aiden, Xavier, and Tristan Reynolds, who were the light of his life.

The family will receive condolences on Saturday, September 12 2020 starting at 9:00 a.m. followed by a ceremony in his memory at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel.
