Clarenceville -Isadore Alton Shedrick after fighting a long battle with cancer, Isadore went home to be with the Lord on Friday August 29, 2014. "Bob" was a man who loved the Lord, wife, children and grandchildren but whom every single person he ever touched left saying what a wonderful man.
Bob loved spending his time being active whether it was catching frogs, ice fishing or simply working on any handyman projects with his friends and family. He was always willing to do for others without complaint and without fail, even during the last 18 months as he battled his illness.
When he wasn't working on something you could always expect to see him with his wife, Connie, as the two were inseparable throughout their 38 years together.
He worked for most of his years at Collins & Aikman until its closing and then spent his last years working with his daughter, Nina, at Bonnette Supply Co., Inc. Along with his brother George, Bob was also Co-Owner of J.M. Hazen Frogs where he was able to turn his passion for frogs into a great partnership.
He is survived by his wife, Connie (Pelkey) Shedrick, Nina (Daughter) & John Bonnette of St. Albans, VT, Isadore (Son) & Felicity Shedrick of Manotick, Ontario, grandchildren Landon, Kaitlyn, Emily, Caleb, Ethan & Owen, his mother Bertha Smorong, 7 brothers, a mother in law, brother in law & sister in laws, along with several nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Isadore Shedrick (Zeke).
“Bob” “Dad”, “Papa” “Isadore” had one more thing to say it would not be goodbye but as he always said when he left us "See you in the Movies"
