Paul McIntyre 1965-2022

It is with immense sorrow that we announce the passing of Paul McIntyre, on August 19th, 2022 at 57 years of age after a brief yet courageous battle with cancer.

Paul was born on March 26th, 1965 in St-Lambert; the 3rd of 9 children. He was a devoted father and husband. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his sense of humour, unwavering personality and loyalty.

Early in life, Paul found a love for working with his hands. This lead him on the path to become a Master Cabinet Maker. In his spare time, he used his gift to create beautiful pieces of art. His greatest passion was his love of fishing and hunting, which was proud to pass on to his children and grandchildren.

Paul will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife and soulmate, June. His beloved children: Amanda (Ryan), Kerrie (Chris) and Kyle. Most of all, his grandchildren will forever long for another moment with their Big Papa.

You will be with us in our hearts. Until we meet again, Rest in Peace.

Overwhelmed to learn such terrible news

Obviously I don’t need to tell you how wonderful Paul was but he was a great kid who liked to work with his hands like his father.

Our condolences

I have received this news with the greatest sorrow. Paul was our most respected employee, both as a Master Woodworker and a kind human being. I especially enjoyed having chats about fishing and any topic for that matter. I will miss you Big guy!

Il va me manquer énormément.

We share your sorrow

I will miss you my little brother. We never really saw eye-to-eye as kids and used to bicker constantly but there were great times as well: baseball games, fishing with our dad even though I hated fishing, snow forts and snowball fights, bike rides, shared friendship with the Fraser brothers, the times my bigger younger brother would protect me from playground bullies. We never had the opportunity to make up for lost time but I am so proud of the man you were and to call you brother.

To June, Kerrie, Kyle and Amanda … my heart breaks at your lose. But I know how proud Paul was of his family so he will live on through you. We love you.
