Webb Stanley 1952-2017

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of William Webb Stanley of Hemmingford, Quebec on September 30, 2017 at the age of 65. Cherished husband, confidante and best friend of Linda Keddy. The son of the late William Dobson Stanley and the late Anne Florence Tyrrell (McGovern) Stanley. He is also survived by his sister Leslie Anne Stanley of Stettler, AB. Much loved stepfather of Sara Greenwood (Cam Pipes) of Vancouver BC and David Greenwood of Edmonton, AB. Visitation with the family beginning at 10:00 am.

Our condolences

Hello. I’m sorry for your loss. I’m wondering if your Webb Stanley could be the person I knew in primary school in Ville St Laurent, Montreal. Webb and I were friends – he even gave me his tie pin to show we were going steady – but lost touch over the years. The primary school was Miller School, followed by St Laurent High School.

Linda and family:

I knew Webb during his time at CPFP/Avenor (I was with CIRI – the property insurance provider). We had a wonderful business relationship, but we also shared many good times together (golfing, fine dining, conferences).

He was a true gentleman and will be sorely missed.

My prayers are with you all for peace at this difficult time.
