Carol Josephine Lafferty 1946-2023

Carol Josephine Lafferty, 77, of Hemmingford, Quebec, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 30, 2023 in Ormstown, Quebec at the Barrie Memorial Hospital. She is preceded in death by her son, Robert Vernon Dulude (1974- 1991); her parents, (Vernon and Mary); and her brothers (Louis and Kevin).

She leaves to mourn her partner, Paul Pass, her two sons, John (Paula) and Mark (Christiane), her grandchildren, Jessica, Dana (Jonathon), Evan and Kaitlyn, her great-grandson, Owen, and her sister Faye.

Carol was an avid gardener and an active member of the Hemmingford community and will be remembered for her tireless work during the Ice Storm ’98. Carol’s favourite role was as Nanny to her four grandchildren.

Friday January 5, 2024 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday January 6, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. followed by the funeral service at the St-Romain Church in Hemmingford at 11 a.m.
