Evelyn Marie Shaw (Clark) 1931-2020

Peacefully passed away  in her home on Friday September 18th, 2020  surrounded by family in her 90th year. Cherished mother of Neil (Sharyn Vanderwalker), Lori Schudde (Albert) and Norman (Leah Boes). Beloved Grandmother to Christopher Schudde (Christine), Jared Shaw, Casey Shaw, great-grandmother to Clark Schudde. Predeceased by her parents Frances and Wills Clark; brothers Robert, David (Dulcie), Glen (Ann) and sisters Orma (late Robert), Beryl (Archie) Sandra (Peter) Survived by brothers John (Dorothy) and Charles (late Pat); sister Wilma (late Gaetan).On September 20th, 2020 her sister Audrey (late Bob) passed away.

Evelyn loved life and was loved by many. She was a 60 year member of the Eastern Star, a long-time member of the Hemmingford Women’s Institute and an active member of the Hemmingford community.  Evelyn had many talents but was most famous for baking  delicious and beautiful  cakes for all occasions. She loved her family and many friends, took great pride in her home, and gardens. She enjoyed golf and yoga in her retirement years. Evelyn will be missed by all, and was a special aunt to many nieces, nephews and ever so proud of her 4 year great grandson, Clark.

The family wishes to sincerely thank Linda Hill and long-time friend Barbara Wheaton for their loving care, support and comfort. Also to Nurse Christian Demers of the CLSC for his compassion and professionalism, we could not have done it without you! A private family burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
