Everett Chester Thompson (86) passed away in Lachine, Quebec on May 12th, 2020. He was born in Clarenceville, Quebec to John Hawley Thompson and Ethel May Wright on May 25th, 1933. Everett is survived by his wife, Marguerite Godin Travers, the love of his life who he met in 2008 and married on April 14th, 2018. He is survived by his brother Robert T. Thompson, brother Theodore S. Thompson and wife Ethel Thompson, son Raymond Rawlings and wife Lynne Chase, stepson Robin Travers and stepdaughter Gail Travers.
Everett is preceded in death by his five brothers: Gordon F. Thompson, Lawrence J. Thompson, Manson H. Thompson, Arthur A. Thompson and Donald Thompson. He will be forever remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. We will miss his humour, his love for card playing, his love for the holidays, books and country and western music. We will dearly miss our Everett everyday and he’ll remain in our hearts forever.
In memory of Everett, visitation will begin at 2 PM on Monday, May 25, 2020 followed by a service at 3 PM.
The burial will be held at the Clarenceville protestant cemetery, on Tuesday May 26, 2020 at 3 PM.
