Gladys Smith Vaillancourt 1932-2023

From Hemmingford, Quebec, Gladys Smith Vaillancourt, passed peacefully on January 1, 2023, at the age of 90. Gladys is predeceased by her husband Gérald Vaillancourt. Gladys is survived and cherished by her daughters Sharon Lentz, Linda Goossens, her grandchildren Jillian Mohr, Andrew (Katie) Mohr, great-grandchildren Jackson, Payton, Jordyn, Grayson, Allie, her brother Carl (Sally) Smith, many nephews and nieces, relatives and friends.

A memorial service for family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 in the chapel at 12:00. The family will be present at the funeral parlor from 10:00 to 12:00.

My deepest sympathy to Gladys’s family. I got to know Gladys over the past few years while at the same care residence as our brother Joe . Inspite of being confined to a wheelchair she was always cheerful & happy when we dropped by to visit. She was a fine lady & l will miss her.
