Leslie Kenneth Campbell 1963-2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leslie Kenneth Campbell, on October 30th, at the age of 61, after his brave 3 year battle with colon cancer. He leaves to mourn his sister Marlene (Jim), his brothers Barry (Kathy), Gordon, Randy Carson and extended family Archie Freedman. He also leaves behind Campbell niece and nephews Robert and Kevin (Mariah) , Allison (Dario), Kyle niece and nephews Harrison, Sullivan, Mikayla . As well as, grand nephew and niece Michael and Julia Miele

During his lifetime he loved playing his guitar and listening to all genres of music. He enjoyed watching classic old movies, Shakespeare and participating in local amateur Shoestring Theatre. He also enjoyed attending amateur theatre that his niece, nephews  and their friends participated in. He was a man of faith in God and participated in drama and music ministries as well as youth ministry at his church.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, November 8th from 6:00-9:00pm at

The Celebration of Life will take place in Mooers Wesleyan Church, on Saturday, November 9th . Visitation from 2:00-3:00pm, with service at 3:00pm.  Burial is at a later date. The service will be live streamed on Facebook. Go  to Mooers Weselyan Church Facebook at 3:00pm. You will be able to check it out later ,on the church site, if you miss the live stream.

So sorry to hear of Leslie’s passing. He was such a gentle soul and easy to talk to. His knowledge of Hollywood movies and actors was second to none so it was only fitting he would be a natural on stage for local theatre in Hemmingford. His humorous side shone.
