Ruth Frances Grace Middleton July 24 1943 – February 9 2025

Ruth passed away at the age of 81 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Toronto and graduated from Queens University,  going on to teach English at Rosemount High School, where she met her belated husband William Bernhaut. She leaves behind her sons Stephen, Timothy-James (Jessica), stepdaughters Louise (Gary) and Joanne (Paul), as well as her beloved grandchildren, Angus, Milo, Lauren, Ella, and Ava.

The family will receive condolences at the funeral home, on Saturday, April 26th from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.

Ruth was a great teammate and lots of fun to be with. To all her family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss and know that Ruth will be missed. I am sorry I cannot be at the funeral; I will be thinking of Ruth and remembering the good times we had in practices and festivals. RIP Ruth.
