Thomas Ray Edward (Bud) Seale, 2013-02-17

SEALE, Thomas Ray Edward (Bud) 1921- 2013.  After a long, full and interesting life and a short illness, Bud passed away February 7th, 2013 at the age of 92, surrounded by his loving family, at the Barrie Memorial Hospital in Ormstown, Quebec.  Beloved husband of Audrey for over 65 years.  He leaves to mourn his daughters Dianne (Gary) and Bonnie and son Robin (Bev) and is predeceased by his son Michael. Bud is also survived by his sister and best friend/brother-in-law, Betty and Jim Shotton. He will be sadly missed by his 9 grandchildren, his 12 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephew, sister-in-law Tina, friend Peter Baker (Susan) and friends here and in Florida.
Bud was a WWII veteran. He enlisted in the Royal Corps of Engineers, transferred to the Bridge Company of the RCASC, and was later assigned to the 25thField Regiment, RCA.  Bud was retired from the Bell Telephone Co.  His passion was carpentry and he not only built his house, he made the altar and christening font for the Presbyterian Church in Ile Perrot.  He was often called on by family and friends to do renovations or just fix something, and he did so gladly.
There will be no service.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Barrie Memorial Hospital Foundation. (inquire at fondationbarriememorial@gmail.comor 450-892-2321).
